TERRAE AUSTRALIS After the start of the colonization of Anaractica, part of the population of Greenland moved to the contienent, alongside many migrants. This has led to internal instability, and with it, a new wave of ultranationalism and human pride in this new world. Led by Paul Jenkins, and his political allies, they overthrew the rest of the council, establishing the First Anarctican Republic. Democratic elections were held, but Jenkins, lost, but he secretly turned it over, commiting election fraud. This allowed him to take power, and suspiciously, no opposition parties got a single seat in the newly formed Congress. This will lead to future instability, and the rise of a new, Caesaerion figure, that will bring about the Pax Anarctica.
Paul Jenkins has put further focus on transporting more people across the ocean to Anarctica, due to the large fleet the Navy possesses, this will be quick. About 1.5 million people will remain in Greenland, to manage the countined mining operations and important port cities, while the vast majority will move to the prepared new cities that the autonomous bots created.
