[Info Sector:] [Ghostkit] [She/Her] [6 moons] [Soft-spoken, Nervous, Shy, Motherly, Self-Sacrificing] [Day of apprentice ceremony] ghostkit exhaled, rising before the sun, as she did most days. although deepleaf had been caring for her, ghostkit had noted a lack of interest in her siblings. due to this, the she-kit had taken on the role of parent in the quartet, waking her siblings when the day awoke and sending them off to bed when the moon began to show. today, however, she had to get her siblings up much earlier, for today was the day they would become apprentices. ghostkit had a mental checklist, one she'd just.. always had with her since the 'removal' of pumpkinfall and duskwing. often, the list was short, just 'wake siblings, make sure everyone eats, have siblings take naps, go to sleep'. today, however, with the ceremony looming over her, ghostkit had to make sure everything went well. first of all, make sure all her siblings were well-rested. she could cross that one off, since she made sure they went to bed early last night. second, arrange proper mentors. she knew the learning styles of each kit better than her own, and she had picked specific cats to mentor them. candykit was to be taught by ferndance, who was known for her unconventional teaching methods, allowing apprentices more choice in what they learned and using games to help them. paired with candykit's playful and excitable personality, ghostkit was sure he'd be able to truly learn to be a warrior and enjoy it. for batkit, she had already arranged for brackenmeadow to mentor him. she and the medic had spoken the previous moon after they decided they needed an apprentice urgently due to their old age. ghostkit was quick to suggest her younger brother, noting his reliability, empathy, and general compassion. finally, trickkit. trick was, as her name suggested, tricky to decide a mentor for, but ghostkit had eventually decided on clearstone. yes, the feline was different from ghost's sister in every way (excluding, of course, their species and clan), but ghostkit had deduced that, unlike candykit, who knew when to tone things back, trickkit needed a mentor who would set her straight and teach her when certain things were appropriate and when she had to be.. well, sane, for a moment. of course, ghostkit hadn't exactly been able to discuss this with sylvenstar (an odd name, she was told, but she'd always admired the leader's unique prefix), being nothing but a child in the eyes of others, but she had pleaded with deepleaf to give recommendations to the powerful feline, and deepleaf had relented. as she rattled through the mentors, she realized she didn't actually give any thought to who she wanted to mentor /her/. truthfully, she hadn't really remembered she was becoming an apprentice, too. the kit quickly pushed this away. her siblings were the important thing, right now. ghost was adaptable. she'd be fine with any mentor. she stood as sunlight began to flood into the nursery, nudging her siblings awake gently. Trick is definitely my favorite design, but I love Ghost <3 yapping: okay so I definitely see ghost taking on the role of mother after the exile of her parents. i do view deep as. not a GREAT parent since their credentials aren't exactly stated other than being 'kind but strict' and favoring ghostkit. like they love ghost but they're not actually very good at splitting their attention or really. parenting in general. ghost definitely views bat as her outlet, although she does try not to put too much weight onto him. matured VERY early. during warriorhood, tends to regress when in private to cope. sometimes just sits in the medicine den with bat and just. lets herself be a child. she's learning INCREDIBLY self-sacrificing as a kit and apprentice, begins learning to prioritize herself more as a warrior. » Ghostkit [she/her] * Personality: Quiet, shy, and very timid.
