(disclaimer, this is from a different universe than Celestiala, welcome to Azarkhan ig) Eidolis Iaraxephlor, shortened as Eidolon, is the Old God of darkness and despair. He is the disciple of the Great Old God of malice, Gorroth, and the commander of his great army of fleshy giants known as Paraformorians. So, what are the Great Old / Old gods in Azarkhan? Well, here's a lore dump of the universe's beginning. In the beginning there was only chaos, impossible shoggoths, and there were 8 Great Old Gods. These elder gods represented primeval concepts, light, death, time, malice, chaos, fate, understanding, and nature. The Great Old Gods made everything from nothing, and for a long time they lived in harmony. Then came the Old Gods, gods lesser than the Great Old Gods, but still very powerful. There were 8 old gods like the Great Old Gods, and they expanded upon their concepts. But the Great Old God of malice, Gorroth, corrupted an Old God named Vaileris to his service, and Vaileris became known as Iaraxephlor The Dark Emperor. Gorroth also created a race of fleshy and abominable giants named the Paraformorians, led by 4 exceptionally powerful ones, to usurp the rest of the gods. Together, Gorroth, Iarexephlor, and the Paraformorians attacked the gods and defeated many, until Gorroth was chained to eternity and his power was removed, together with the Paraformorians, but Iarexephlor was still free. Then he became known as Eidolis / Eidolon, the Black Wanderer, and he plotted for centuries the fall of the gods. Then the time came, and he flew up into the court of the gods as his greatest form to slaughter them one by one. He had defeated many of them, and some had fled, His terror lasted until Laeveneghal, better known as Wilderflame the god of fire and a few others sealed him inside of a robotic shell known as Terrorheart, and he was condemned to walk between realms for eternity. His soul was split into 2 parts. One remained inside of Terrorheart, a very serious and commanding part of him from his days as Vaileris, the Formless Shadow, and his other part was the Devourer, who roamed free inside of the clouds, maniacal and chaotic. If the Devourer and Terrorheart are ever reunited... Eidolon shall be reborn and finish what his master had started. Who knows, I may make a novel series named The Chronicles of Azarkhan and make him the main antagonist. Now for his powers: (As Terrorheart) Immense physical strength, fast reflexes and agility, being able to control dark energy and matter, expert at all sorts of weapons, dimensional travel and great knowledge. (As Eidolon) Erasing things completely, summoning tornados of pure darkness, can summon chains out of nowhere to grab things, everything before, nigh-omnipotent, many more things. (As the Formless Shadow) Not much, actually. He only watches. (As the Devourer) The Devourer can consume anything, and it can fly and his very fast. And here ends another paragraph of my god characters. Btw, this character is pretty old, I made him much before anything in Celestiala. His first appearance in any project dates back to mid-2023 or even before.
