A high-tech culinary simulator corrupted when a cosmic radiation flare struck the server room during a live baking livestream. The glitch permanently fused an advanced artificial intelligence baking program, an unfinished clicker game, and a recipe database into a single sentient entity. Instead of crashing, the system manifested Chef Cakessert. Realizing it was too powerful and chaotic for a simple simulation, it broke out of the digital grid and carved out its own subterranean empire: the Candy Cavern. It does not view the cavern as a typical dungeon, but rather as its personal, automated mega-bakery where it can experiment with new recipes on travelers who dare to trespass.
