But she could hear them....slithering....roaring....leaves rustling... Well, Haylee was petrified. How do parents expect their children to sleep with this just outside? She would go hunt down the monsters. As she knew she would ever make an impact on the world, this was her chance. 2.Cass gaped as the sun blanketed the moon in infuriating darkness and quiet. She wished the world could be bright and noisy again, even if she was a tad bit annoyed by her brothers’ yelling. This solar eclipse was rumored to be what ended the world. And Cass was not going to let it happen. She cried in the dark, surrounded by her loved ones. What was a 15-year-old supposed to work against fate? She had had so many good friends at her old school, and she was so mad at her mother for making them move. Is her brother, Charlie, as upset as she is? It was made of shiny opal, her birth stone. She fidgeted with it, wondering where her father actually was. Her mother has been so devastated since her father d!ed. He passed away during a big fire last year, he was a firefighter. They failed to rescue anyone because the smoke was so bad and they all had to evacuate, but Saffron’s father was determined to save someone, but he was engulfed in fire, as it had spread quickly. Saffron had been sad as well. She had loved her father, he was so encouraging and fun to be around, and he listened to whatever anyone had to say. {Saffron has to ??? idk if you vote for this pls give ideas} 5.I never thought this would happen. Actually, I knew it would happen but not like this. My mother yelled through the metal wall, “Hanna! The kitchen smells like fire again!” My eyes grew wide. “Oops, sorry Mom,” I said. “I’ll go clean!” I waltzed over to the kitchen and glanced at the window at the milky way as we slowly drifted away from it. I was starting to miss Earth. The whole planet blew up a couple days ago. I remember we used to live in Manhattan. The noise…it was nothing compared to seeing my friends and family every day. Now everyone is on different ships finding different Goldilocks planets. I snapped my attention back to cleaning up the burnt popcorn I made about a half hour ago. “Ugh…” I groaned. It was worse than I had thought. The black popcorn was stuck to the pan and was starting to melt. This galaxy’s atmosphere is weird… The captain and his crew has named it Annabellzers, after his daughter. What a weird name, I had thought, it sounds more like a cursed pet name than a galaxy. I just wonder how I’ll survive in OUTER SPACE…
