MINOR SPOILER WARNING, IG. Some of you may or may not know that I had previously cancelled "Skaar's Heart of White." I am planning to rewrite it, very soon at that, as I suddenly had a few ideas (which I fused into one XD)! --- Ragna Skaar (protagonist) starts attending a magic school, similarly to the original book, but this time she is alone. In the original book and this rewritten one, the school is run similar to a college (I… think? I've never been to college), as there are dorms. Rowan is Ragna’s dormmate. The main changes to the school itself are making it no longer be on a floating island making it have a more mystical and dark academia aesthetic because I can. The magic system is pretty much the same, except Blight is not a thing. Magic system: Breath is the essence of magic, and no, it is not actual air. Breath exists within every living being (plants, animals, ect.) and is used to cast spells. Casting spells drains Breath and it can be replenished with time. Magical affinities are what types of magic a magician is naturally most proficient in. Magicians typically have 1 or 2 magical affinities. Blight was a magical condition that made a magician’s magic far stronger than normal, but also made the magician more unpredictable. I scrapped this because it was hard to write. The Abyss and the Beasts still exist, but they will likely be more important early on. The Abyss Guardians do not exist. The Magicians of Yore were three powerful magicians from ancient times who imprisoned the Beasts in the Abyss. They were Wisteria Carmine (ice magician), Estra Greenwood (Breath Sight/Manipulation), and Aray Silver (unknown magical affinity). The character designs will not change, but some designs have been scrapped (because the character has).
