While I was messing around in Illustrator, take a loot at what I just made! It's the 2013 Wooden Railway Talking Gordon! He's based on a real Talking Gordon that I actually own. All measurements and proportions are of the highest accuracy I could obtain. Mine is coded 2674RSQ, meaning he was built in September 2014. He has these phrases: "I am Gordon! *Whistle, Whistle*" "Fastest and best, I pull the express!" "Full Steam Ahead! *Whistle, Whistle*" "Out of my way! I must not be late!" "Express coming through! *Whistle, Whistle, Whistle, Whistle*" "Oh the indignity..." The face however is not detailed because that always takes up the most time. Plus, I don't know which design I would pick. I even included some actual track! So, what do you think? Should I try making more of these things? If I do, then ithas to be an item I have. I don't really have the time or money to go swimming through second-hand catalogues for items I don't have, even though it would benefit my collection.
c2a If there were characters I wish they made for the line, Rex and Glynn are definetely some of those. Rex because so many people had to buy a second Mike to paint green, and Glynn because he only exists as Trackmaster and Capsule Plarail, which FYI is Japan-exclusive.
