The R188 runs on the 7 line only and most are converted R142A 6 train sets; however every 7 has at least 1 new car on it. Because cars (7899-7936) were R188 C cars built to expand the re-built trains from 10 to 11 cars. 88 R188 cars (7811-7898) were built as new 11 car R188s.
