The AkashGati is the state-owned railroad entity of the Bhahsani & Pakzameeni RSNs, managing all routes and manufacturing trains alongside Bhahsania Freight Transport Limited (BFTL). It specializes in passenger services, having been created through the merger of Bhahsani and Pakzameeni railway contractors, and operates various systems. For the first system, there is the Vishu Maglev Train, a Pakzameeni design, originally commissioned in 2026. The Vishu has a designed cruise speed of 550 km/h, a top speed of 570 km/h, and employs a modular trainset architecture with dedicated powered end units and interchangeable passenger wagons. It is currently the fastest train system in use with the FRSN and the one of the cleanest, producing no direct operational emissions since it is electrically powered, made in accordance with Project Shabuz Dharti. The most recent of these systems, meanwhile, is the Mayura monorail, which follows smaller, predetermined routes across the FRSN's various cities. Again, it is a Pakzameeni design introduced in November 2027, with a usual cruising speed of 60 km/h and fully electric propulsion system. However, the Mayura is also fully autonomous, as it is programmed to follow set routes, with specific stops along the way. Interestingly, the Mayura's passenger cars hang beneath an elevated guide beam rather than conventional top-running designs. For the future, AkashGati has expressed plans to incorporate artificial intelligence systems into the train, with Pakzameeni contractors Zardai Railways already having worked on one after the development of Mayura (Zardai Railways is now integrated into AkashGati). Commuters across the FRSN have praised both systems, with fares entirely free to passengers and transport remaining highly efficient. Intercity travel has also become much faster with the usage of the Vishu Maglev; a nonstop 100 kilometer-long journey can easily be covered within approximately 11 minutes. Within cities, the Mayura has seen much usage, and in Noorpuri alone, it sees over 2 million individual passenger journeys. The 200+ Mayura operating branches and distinct routes in Noorpuri also operate throughout the entire city along streets and major roads, commercial corridors, and dedicated elevated routes. Almost all Pakzameeni and a handful of Bhahsani cities use the Mayura for day-to-day transport as part of their public transport architecture, while the Vishu is widely used for long-haul intercity and interregional transport across the FRSN's member nations.
