Games is about a kit named Juniper who experiences a fire that burns down his home. Juniper is forced into a forest that is full of what appear to be cats with strange patterns. Juniper becomes fond of a female cat named Poppy. Poppy's patterns look slightly lik a fox. Later, Juniper realizes that they are not cats at all! The cats are secretly foxes and other predators! juniper knows that he is the prey but to take him, they have to find him. Juniper says "I know your games, I know you haved masks, and I know what is behind them! Juniper is scared so badly he runs off. Juniper cowers in his underground nest all day, and comes out only at night. He cannot tolerate the "cats" and goes mad. One night, he goes and runs out of the forest while the monsters seek him. they capture him and try to make him one of them by preforming a ritual. Juniper comes back to himself and flees while the onsters are still in a trance. he runs to the plains and settles in a cave in a rocky area hoping they will never find him.End of "book" 1
