✦ ┆ Meeting Seagull ! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ★ This was my second day out at the barn, and today I met the second horse I was working with! Meet Seagull, also known as A Quick Flick Through The Mist! ★ This lovely stallion is an Appaloosa Lipizzaner cross, and he is just gorgeous! He was out in his paddock with his buddy, and I went to go fetch him. Unfortunately I had forgot to bring my halter from home, so I just had to use a lead rope around him. Thank goodness he didn't spook or buck, since it was a windy day. I wore blue to match his pad, and I saddled him up at the round pen ★ Despite it being a windy day, I went to the outdoor to get in a ride. With him being the cross breed he was, he was really smooth to ride! Everything was almost going perfectly until he decided that the wind was a little toooo spooky and the only way to fix it was to throw me off. I held on for dear life - he's a big boy - and thankfully made it through his little spook ★ After the ride, I decided to let him play around in the arena, so I took his bridle off and let him run around. He had lots of fun, and it was a great bonding moment for us, as I played with him a little too. ★ After everything, I returned him to his paddock, where he ran to go meet his friend. I am very excited to get this horse over some poles and maybe do a little dressage with him since he is a eventer!
