This is a simulator for the BHS Physics Final Exam. You are to use the simulator to determine A) Which of the two boxes has a greater mass? B) What is the force of friction on each box C) What is the mass of each box? D) What is the acceleration due to gravity on this world? You will also need to draw E) force vector diagrams with labels and values for all forces acting on the boxes at different times F) approximate position vs time, velocity vs time, and acceleration vs time graphs.
The person pushes both boxes with the same amount of force for the same amount of time. Assume all forces acting in the simulation (applied, gravitational, normal, frictional, etc.) are constant when they are present, and air resistance is negligible and should be ignored. Hints & reminders: To find the mass of the box, you will first need to find all of the accelerations then use a system of equations to solve. When evaluating motion and forces in one direction (e.g. "x"), any forces and motion in the other direction (e.g. "y") can be ignored.
