Hello there, my dapper fellows! (get ready to read a TON, folks) Second art thing posted this month lol- I'm trying to get used to actually posting more often on both here and Unvale, but it's coming together. I have like my first midterm of the year two weeks from now, help </3 Anyways, all that aside, meet Zephyr! First in line of my elemental inspired OCs that I'll probably end up trading or giving away sometime in the near future, so if you want one and have an Unvale account then message me there. Moving on from that, (very lazily and rushed) character description time!! Full name: Zephyr [REDACTED] (shhh it's a secret for now) Nicknames: Zeph Pronouns: he/they Favorite hobby: dancing Personality: Pretty shy most of the time and easily flustered - they're a very sweet and gentle guy at heart. He's not angered easily, but if you somehow manage to do it, you're in for a world of trouble. Powers: Anemokinesis (the power to manipulate wind and air currents) - he automatically creates small little gusts of wind with every step and flick of their tail or ears, and can control the power, direction, and other attributes of said breezes at will. With this, he can even fly himself around, though it does take a lot of energy after about half an hour. He also has the little sub power of pneumakinesis, allowing him to literally steal the air out of your lungs when really angered. Alright now for the artist rant (this is the last section you don't have to read it guys): Automatically when thinking of wind, I thought gray. I have no idea if y'all would also think of it that way but I do so that was the base color lol. I had some rough little doodles of him I'd been doing in school, so I kind of already had an idea of a few of his main features - that slightly curly, flowing fur, the little wing shape behind his eyes, and ear tufts. Once I actually started sketching, I decided on adding those little alternating wing markings on his legs as well as making the entirety of his chest that same light gray, choosing to make him bicolored because I was lwk tired and didn't wanna think much. I played around with the eye color for about half an hour before finally settling on that lighter blue - it just seemed fitting with his soft personality, with the color being pleasant to look at but can also appear to be piercing in the right circumstances as well. For the leaves, quite literally just looked out my window and saw the autumn leaves of that old oak tree that's been there for gods know how long, and used those colors, and the warm tones actually ended up contrasting quite nicely with Zeph's cooler ones. When deciding on the headshot expression, I actually decided against doing any negative emotioned one like I usually would, though it would've contrasted nicely with that sweet look they're giving us in the main image. Instead, I decided to go with a sort of little "spoiler" to a later scene that I know I'll end up drawing, at least within the next six months or so. As for the music choice, it really just fits my lil guy really well. Okay that's all, bye my lil silly beans <33
