Exploring Loneliness . a poem Sometimes I wonder when sea turns to sonder if you’d like to see me again Weaving between the meadows laughing on the swings instead of me only accompanied by the lone wren Would you join me wading through the shallows talking through the spring But you say that kind of love is reserved for different friends That because I am like this you can’t love me for who I am And now there’s no one left because you took them away So I keep my breath and turn to the gray But maybe the rainbow was duller with you and maybe the colorlessness is really anew So if you ever want to find me which will probably never occur I’ll be here in the empty getting used to the slur I’m exploring the loneliness not surprised with only this because expectations dwindle when more trauma is kindled.
