She always knew she'd be leaving The whole of her world fit in a suitcase and a backpack Backtrack, trace her steps, she’s weaving How did she arrive here at the peak of a precipice? Cavernous walls lie between What she was and will be Glowing halls in the green Stone breeds moss under leaves Overturned memories Broken under her feet She believes that the seethe Of her brawls are obscene She’s appalled by the scene But beyond midnight’s veil, misty obscurity There is more to her tale than she knows there to be As she’s bracing herself to move forward and leave There are vines underneath, growing constantly Striving for light in the deep of the dark that is blinding Her eyes from the leaps she is desperately trying to make into strings Some connections now shining like diamonds in rings that she forms in her mind as she runs, circling, in a search for a finding that could break her free Does she know it’s alive? Living while she’s asleep? In the darkest of times Does she know what could be? Outside all of the lines that make maps she defines with A world is outside all her bubbles of violence She’ll travel for moments of peace with the quiet A pendulum, compass, that’s still realigning She’ll unpack her things and see there’s more to find in it Something that breathes while so much else is dying and Something that weaves reasons to keep on trying Find moments, reprieves, amidst all of her fighting She looks to the seats next to her on the flight Sees a hundred ambiguous, different eyes But perhaps she is not as alone in these skies As she once may have thought and not realized She knows that she’ll fall and she knows that she’ll leak But she’ll never stop seeking the waterfall’s breach Even when she slips up, feels especially weak She knows that she is more than mistakes she repeats Than the help that she needs, than the pain she receives Than the words on the street, than what others may think Than what she may believe, than what she even sees Of herself in the trees of her mind’s tendencies So she’ll walk through it flawed and she’ll walk through it scarred Find a way to rebuild from the ways she was charred She won’t stay in one place, in a space in a yard Till the end of the race, every day is a start

I know it's not rhythmically consistent, so lmk ur thoughts and if it'll suit your needs (I can make other concepts if this one doesn't sit right!). U can tweak things, too, ofc! You also don't have to use everything, if you're finding it's too clunky to all be in the same song. You do you! :)
