✦ ┆ Meeting Snickers ! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ★ Last, but no least, I got to meet my third horse this week! Meet Can't resist, Snickers! This is a lovely cross between a shire and APH, and a absolute beauty! ★ I went out early this morning, andI found him in his stall, and brushed and tacked him up in there since the wash stall was in use. After that, I took him to the indoor arena ★ Before mounting up, I tightened his girth. And when I went up, I came to remember that the last time I rode a drafty was on a trail ride long long ago. I'm used to riding younger taller warmbloods, not drafts like Snickers. However, this got to be a new experience for me! We started with a walking warm up so I could get used to him. We did some trotting, then cantering. And oh my GOODNESS, he had the smoothest canter I've ever felt! It was super easy to ride, and it was fun! When we were done, I let him have a walking break before dismounting ★ With the wash stall now free, I untacked him in there. I had to cut the camera due to some calling me about my...super secret business that's in the works....and when I was done brushing him down, I took him out to his paddock. There was a lovely sunrise outside, and Mr. Snickers cantered off to go enjoy his morning ★ Just like Seagull, Snickers here is an eventer! I'm very excited to try him in jumping and dressage, given how smoothly he moves. Cant wait for our upcoming rides ! ★ Credits ★ @-TheConjuring for the rider @Stxrry-Nightz- for the tack, stall and indoor arena @ghostsonqs for Snickers and paddock
