February 3, 2035 (Saturday) This map originated from New Tundra. New Tundra understands that Canec has made their own map of “seas” (oceans). However, because of this major naming fault and the complexity and yet vagueness of their set water boundaries, New Tundran hydrographers Marianna Brown and John Davidson alongside the New Tundran National Association of Hydrology and Hydrography (NAHH) have published a new map of the oceans. The map contains six oceans. Ocean List: North End Ocean South End Ocean Pontus Ocean Tralala Ocean Antarctic Ocean Arctic Ocean Name Context: -The End Oceans. Named because most authoritative figures in the 1300s thought the world ended at their far coasts, or lead to a whirlpool and eventually Agartha. -Arctic and Antarctic Oceans. Named for their geographical location. -Tralala Ocean. Named because of the Protected Tralala Territory, a mainly untouched island home to prehistoric and preserved animal and plant species. It is also shaped like a shark, so it is only fitting. -Pontus Ocean. Home to the deepest point on Erthe, commonly referred to as Pontus Point. Pontus Pointhis in the Ireshore Trench. Ireshore Trench is named after the Ireshore tectonic plate. Boundary Reasoning: -Antarctic and Arctic: Latitude placement -North/South End Ocean Common Boundary: A cape by the Sea of Taxes and PAX’s southern coast -North/South End Ocean: Nvarnan Strait, New Tundran Cape Sun -Pontus Ocean: Cape Sun, western Pan-Aussland coast -Tralala Ocean: Pan-Aussland coast, Nvarnan Strait
