Hey guys! Las year I hosted Diana's Halloween Costume Contest, a silly contest where you have to draw you OCs in a Halloween costume! Well, just as I promised, here is the second edition of DHCC! :D ♠︎ THIS YEAR'S THEME ♠︎ Last edition didn't have one because it was the first time, but this year I added a little extra challenge to it hehe ;3 This edition's theme is BOOKS! Make sure your costume is related to a book! Like Whiterose in her Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) costume in the TN! You don't have to dress your OC like a character of the book you choose, you can design them with little items and aesthetics of the book! For example, if I did a costume based of The Queen of Nothing, I would iclude a broken crown and a snake! Hope this was useful *sobs* ♠︎ RULES ♠︎ ♤Use your own OCs ♤Don't create a new OC just for this challenge please ♤KEEP YOUR OC RECOGNIZABLE! The idea is to create a costume, not to change their whole design! ♤No AI, the art must be 100% yours ♤When I say no AI I really mean it, please don't ask ChatGPT for ideas ToT ♤Don't be mean to other participants. ♤You have to follow the theme! ♤You can do multiple entries for multiple OCs (or all for the same OC!). However, the design has to be different and based of another book ♤You can only choose one book to be the base of your OCs design (and you have to say which book it is) ♤You can add features to your OC that aren't in the book! But the most part of the features should be or from the book or from your OC (like an accessory) ♠︎ A FEW TIPS TO BOOST YOUR ENTRY ♠︎ ♤BE CREATIVE!!! ♤I'll evaluate the art, obviously, but the most important thing is the design! ♤Make your design minimally spooky. This is a Halloween challenge, after all! ♤You can do mini comics or animations to boost your entry ♤Quality > Quantity ♤Explain why you chose that costume for that OC! Does the book character's personality match your OC's? Because it's your favorite book? Why did you choose to put that feature in the design? ♠︎ PRIZES ♠︎ 1st Place: An animated pfp and a scene 2nd Place: A pfp and a custom/fullbody 3rd Place: A pfp or a headshot ♠︎ CLOSES 29TH OCTOBER! ♠︎ No extensions, sorry guys! :( I need to have time to see all the entries so I can post the results on Halloween!
