Matthew Gilbert's stranger things season five: the junior novelization just released October 13, 2026, preview: It's the fall of 1987, and our heroes are united by one single goal: fand and kill Vecna. Complicating the mission, the government has placed Hawkins under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. The final battle is looming -and with it a darkness more powerful and deadly than anything they've faced before. To end this nightmare, they'll need everyone -the full party-standing together, one last time.
