A young she-cat, formerly a house cat (Or kittypet) ventures into the forest beyond her backyard and is introduced into a world of adventure, danger, exploration, Clans and survival. The she-cat, Ivy, learns that she is the daughter of a she-cat gifted with ancient powers, and that Ivy herself was stolen by the humans and raised as a soft house cat. Both her parents were from two different Clans--DawnClan and MistClan. Knowing this, both Clans try to take her for their own--knowing that Ivy controlled the fate of the Clans. As Ivy is stuck in a decision that could change the Clans forever, two Clans battle around her as she tries to complete the ancient prophecy written about her.
