so, evebody knows that moon clefts basically look just like clefts, but they are brown instead of light grey, matching the color for clefts in the original paper mario. they appear in paper mario: the thousand year door, on the moon and the the pit of 100 trials, and they also appear in super paper mario, at the downtown of crag and the flipside pit of 100 trials. now enough useless information, and onto the situation instead. so the mario wiki says that in super paper mario, the western releases "mistakenly" referred to as moon clefts, despite them not being on the moon or any cosmic locations. but i think this is false. 1. they have the same color as moon clefts in the thousand year door. and i mean normal clefts do have that colour in the original paper mario, but the graphics in this game are based off TTYD, not the original. 2. in TTYD, they is a single moon cleft in the pit of 100 trials, at the floor 55. and the pit of 100 trials is WAY far from being on the moon. so no mariowiki, moon clefts in SPM are not regular clefts.
