I'm spider (@spider-stories) and I use he/they pronouns. i'm transgender & autistic, and roleplaying has actually been one of my big interests for a while! I joined gens around six months ago (possibly more) with my first cat being Badgergaze of MossClan and my most recent one being Crocusfaith of MossClan (crocus is still alive, but going on an exploration with a high death chance, but also his plot is tapering off a bit so even if bug survives, I'll keep this as a real application). I adore writing and forming stories, as well as drawing my characters CONSTANTLY, and my activity of scratch is around 8/10, though at times I get swamped by schoolwork and can't respond to threads for days ^^" ⋆˖⁺‧₊⛧ who i'm applying for + why + future identity : the wonderful Ruse! when I saw her design, I was in love! I find the light colors with spots of super dark very visually appealing and I'm excited to draw her for my application :3 also- Fatefracture is a really interesting character and you're a cool person :D Ruse will be apargnder in the future, using he/she/they/it pronouns, but during kithood- will use exclusively she/her (I will be referring to them with all future pronouns in this application) Ruse will not having a defined romantic orientation, though the closest label would be pan. they will also be aroflux (sometimes feels romantic attraction, but not often, though would stick with a partner once/if he had one) and ace ⋆˖⁺‧₊⛧ personality (detailed and simplified) :
⋆˖⁺‧₊⛧ research (ASD) : hi so I have this myself, and Ruse’s ASD will look pretty similar to mine. I’m what you might call ‘high-functioning’ autistic, meaning that I’m fully verbal most of the time and can often pass as neurotypical. I do sometimes go nonverbal, but only if I’m very stressed/panicking. In my day-to-day life, the stuff that affects me most is noise sensitivity/overstimulation and texture issues. to avoid those, I always have fidget toys, a comfort object, and noise-canceling headphones at almost all times, and avoid anything that may bother my hands. anyway, enough about me- how will this affect Ruse? ⋆˖⁺‧₊⛧ trivia/random idea dump : - super indecisive about gender- ends up going with he/she/they/it and is apagender but has a bit crisis about feel like he needs to pick -wants to be famous like her parent- confused why UC hates her so much -idolizes fate & obsessed with the concept of loyalty -reckless- has broken multiple bones just. falling off things -super passionate about his interests and can talk for hours -will talk for hours, regardless of who you are (prone to monologues and waxing poetic aswell) -weirdly specific fears,, and crumbles completely under any sort of pressure -strangely innocent, but jokes about crime and violence and stuff to impress others + be perceived as ‘tough’ -super obsessive once she gets an idea and very stubborn,, doesn’t wanna quit before they’re ahead, even if everything it does is failing -out of touch with actually social conventions because it sorta lives in his own fantasy -favorite game is play pretend -very competitive about anything- insecure about failing/losing and will throw tantrums if they mess up -always childish, but may have an arc where they feel the need to ‘grow up’ -terrible sense of direction- gets lost frequently -feels as if she has big shoes to fill,, but as if fate’s shadow eclipses them -50% of identity is ‘child/heir of fate because she’s super cool and awesome and powerful :D’ -other half is ‘tough, cool, awesome person who’s the bets at thing :nods:’ -overly enthusiastic about everything -pretty insecure on the inside, covers this up by being incredibly annoying -stares constantly, accidentally unsettling -i love inspiring my characters off of media (helps cement personality/plot/dynamics) so think Joshua from CHNT mixed with Monk from RW but if they were Artificer’s child instead of Survivor’s sibling -carries the most random stuff imaginable around at all times to fidget with -oh did i mention they’re getting asd? I have it myself and want a character with it aswell -obsessed with dye and fashion and stuff because they think it’s fun -may join uc when older to quote ‘help out momma by destroying the government from the inside!’ -twoleg trash collection/unofficial accessories, including a small foam sword -theme playlist is full of very conflicting vibes/themes -some main songs: Ain't it Fun by Paramore (reason: same as in Fate's bio/one of her themes, showing how Ruse tries to be similar to her), Glitter & Gold by Barnes Courtney (reason: sorta symbolic,, they are the glitter but she's rising towards gold), Brighter Than The Sun by Brick + Mortar (reason: shows how out-of-control they are at times,, and also more showing that strive for greatness), Arms Tonite by Mother Mother (shows complete trust in other cats, to the point of dying for them), Coelacanth by ButterscotchBread (shows wanting to be immortalized), Still Searching by ButterscotchBread (showing possible arc of post Fate's death searching for who he is beyond Fate's legacy) -VC is Rainbow Dash because I said so Ruse -> AFAB -> Research - None -> Designed by -> Claimed by @ cw is hidden somewhere in the application :)
