Description ---------------------------- The first Kaiju, a legend, and a Metaphor warning against the dangers of nuclear proliferation. ---------------------------- Story ---------------------------- In late 1954, The "Lucky Dragon #5" went out for a fishing trip and returned covered in radiation burns, when a old man saw the burns, he speculated them to be from the Monster from legends named "Gojira". Following these events a research team went out onto a island where a suspicious amount of radioactivity was present. when they went up a hill, Gojira Showed himself with a mighty roar and they fled the scene. Later that day Gojira came and attacked a small town. A day after this encounter, Gojira emerged from Tokyo bay and attacked the city laying it to waste and killing thousands. When Gojira returned to the sea, Dr. Serizawa used the oxygen destroyer on Gojira sacrificing himself in the process.
