--== How To Play ==-- Select a gem on the board, and then either click a neighboring gem or swipe the gem in any cardinal direction to swap 2 gems. Form a straight line of 3 or more gems to score points. Use matches of 4 or more to create powerups to aid you, and avoid running out of moves!!! --== Game Modes ==-- Classic: The base game, simply score points to progress to the next level, and avoid running out of moves. Action: Same as classic, but levels start at 50% progress and slowly decrement over time, meaning you must also avoid running out of time. Endless: A more meditative experience where you never run out of moves. Puzzle: complete a series of pre-made puzzles to advance through various planets until you reach the end. Twilight, Hyper, Finity, and Cognito: Hidden secret modes that may be unlocked on the menu by pressing L. --== Powerups ==-- Star gems (4 in-a-row): Explodes upon matching, destroying a 3x3 area of gems. Hypercubes (5 in-a-row): Can be swapped with a gem of any color to destroy all gems of the same color on the board. Bombs (Puzzle & secret modes exclusive): Explodes similarly to a star gem after a certain amount of moves. Rocks (Puzzle mode exclusive): Cannot be matched, explosives or hypercubes are required to destroy it.
What was changed in this remix: - Backdrops imported as vector to not lose quality and background music added. Thanks to @fan_of_pixels for the original project Not Bejeweled 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1081955100 - Turbowarp recommended!!! (https://turbowarp.org/1393265230?fps=60&hqpen&clones=Infinity&offscreen&limitless) - Early release to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Bejeweled 2 in 2004!! - Heavily W.I.P. at the moment; Expect a heavily unfinished product and plenty of bugs (By the way, in the Main sprite, there's some debug code closer to the top left, especially useful if you wanna progress through puzzle mode for now)
