Okie so I've been working on this world for like idk 2 years now maybe (actually I think only one but whatever) and I figured if I'm gonna post a bunch of art related to said world I might as well give you guys some details Contents: Species Kingdoms Deities History Specific Characters --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Species: Humans: Y'know. Just regular dudes. pretty much what you'd expect Mages/Witches: People who have an affinity with one (or more) of the 6 elements (more on that later) They can usually do spells and stuff but some of them also have extra abilities. This technically isn't actually a species because most species have witches it's just a very specific skill type Godbloods: part god, part... something else. IDK. most godbloods are basically like that one kid you know who's like "I'm 1/1000 related to Taylor Swift" or whatever BUT each of the gods has one actual child at any given time who is a godblood. Because magic. Godbloods who are 1-4 generations removed from the god are generally much more powerful than witches. Anything below that and they are the same or less power Sangui: basically sort of vampires. They live amongst humans and look similar to light fae, but generally have dark hair. They mostly drink animal blood but will turn to humans if very desperate. Changers: humanoid creatures who can change their shape to look like any other humanoid creature of their choice. The only way to recognise them is that their eyes are always slightly different colors from each other. Fae: There are 6 types of fae: water, fire, land, sky, light, and dark They all look pretty much like what you're imagining (elf ears and element related coloring) sky fae have wings Some of them have powers they live for up to 1000 years that's really it. Hybrid Fae: combinations of two or more of the six types of fae my favs are swamp fae (land + water) sun fae (sky + light) moon fae (sky + dark) and rain fae (sky + water) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kingdoms: Taelann: a military focused human kingdom for historical reasons. There are a lot of witches and godbloods there (also for historical reasons) They have bad air because they're close to the fire kingdom and they send their worst criminals to Yeldav to be executed. They have some nice, california-esque beaches Yeldav: basically pretty similar to the pilgrim times here in America. you know, they burn witches and all that. generally pretty fanatical. Human kingdom btw. Cold weather there and they do technically have a beach Estelle: very artsy human kingdom. Estelle has a huge capitol city and a bunch of small towns. Generally really accepting. They have similar beaches to Florida and have a trade relationship with the water kingdom Verineous: basically just a placeholder right now. IDK really. it's up north somewhere. :) human kingdom Fire kingdom: The home of the fire fae. They have an on-again off-again warlationship with Taelann Water kingdom: home of the water fae. it's on a bunch of islands of the coast of Estelle Land Kingdom: Land fae. foresty I guess. watch out for passing sky fae. Sky kingdom: mostly up in the trees. They mind their own business. (home of the sky fae) Dark kingdom: home of the dark fae. Very mysterious. oooo spooky >:) Light kingdom: home of the light fae. Most likely will blind you. It's like when you're sleeping and someone turns on the lights. that's it :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deities: Nox: God of night/dark. He's emo and wears black and stuff Lux: Goddess of day/light. She's happy happy happy doo doo doo doo doo doo. Ignien: Goddess of fire. She's very grr Aequor: God of water. splish splash Thesdra: queen of the gods. Goddess of weather/ sky/ storm. Fun fact: my great granddad survived getting hit by lightning twice :D Frikis: Goddess of cold. brrr Taranis: God of land. Father Earth, if you will. Operaron: God of labor.
