hi, my minions: yes, i'm taking a break from scratch right now. I'm at a tough point in school and just life in general, so here i go: my main reasons are: homework: with all of my algebra, science fair, and Spanish, I've been having to work at home for longer periods of time. Also, i gotta confess, some days I put SO MUCH energy into scratch that i have none left for my schoolwork. additionally, I just want a break. Honestly, on some days when I don't even check scratch, it feels so much easier to focus. Don't get me wrong, I love all of my friends/rper buddies on scratch. But i'd rather meet u all in person then talk thru someone's comments section. (i'll still do it tho cuz it gets actually WILD sometimes) But guys, it actually was super hard for me to post this. I had a lot of conficting feelings about taking a hiatus, and a lot of thoughts thst told me not to. (e.x. "only expericenced scratchers work hard enough to earn hiatuses" and "you dont deserve a hiatus cuz all your projects are (pardon my use of word coding but im not sure if scratch will accept it) cr@p") BUT NO! I WILL NOT LISTEN TO THOSE THOUGHTS ANY MORE AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU! so i am now taking a break. I still have plenty of ideas - 100 follower dta - a bound reality/game show - a talk show - and literally anything else you can think of. I just really need to catch up on a bunch of art for MAPs, redraws, heck, even simple tns! and taking a break is just what I need to do. I might still come heart and star your projects, respond to comments, sign up for bound things. But I won't post any projects until I've got, like, a buildup of 3 so I always have smth to post. Also, I think imma try to post smth every Friday at 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time. I might not make it! But I also might post 2, so be ready. This is getting really long, so imma stop right here.
