Dusty would challenge the party to an optional battle each time the party meets him. He only reappears in the next chapter if the player beat him in the previous one. In chapter 2, he's overconfident in his abilities, and challenges the party because he's bored. He uses only his flamethrower. In chapter 3, he's angry at losing the first time, and challenged the party to a rematch. This time, he uses his Wheelie bike for the fight. In chapter 4, he's come to respect the party's strength, and challenges them to one final battle. He'll use his Robobot Armor for this fight. If he's defeated here, he joins the party.
