May be disturbing for younger ages... Rumors are circulating throughout Mothron that many Sogranists from the days of old, even those thought oofed for years such as First General are alive. This however is not confirmed, as there has yet to be an actual return (at least in the open) of any of these leaders. Meanwhile however, I focus not on the Sogranists, but on a faction everyone has forgotten. The Shields City remnants, comprising of 60,000 men, a thousand of whom are specialized operatives, Knights of the Shield. You may think that this isn't a big number, but the fact remains that they have an advantage. All Shields City soldiers have been through rigorous training for over a decade of their lives in preparation for war. They aren't 60,000 weaklings, for they are indeed mighty men who excel above any other in the nation. Now it came about that a force of 2,000 men (200 of whom were Knights of the Shield), were seen to be marching through the streets of Monk City, marching towards the Royal Palace. Yet that was not all that came, for with them, the men had prisoners: Sogranists, in fact, 500 of them. They arrived at the entrance of the Royal Palace, Prince Samuel and his officials appearing on the balcony, staring in awe at the army. But the army made no moves of hostility, and a helicopter descended. Out of the helicopter came a face Prince Samuel never thought he'd see again. It was no weakling who came out of the helicopter, but the very Commanding General of Shields City, Yggr himself! With him many guards came, and he spoke aloud to the Prince. "Let us speak inside. Privately." Yggr replied. "My Lord, do not trust him!" an official cried. "He could wipe us off the face of the Earth! This could be a trap!" "Trap or not, I must risk my life if it means peace." Samuel replied. So the guards of the Prince opened the palace gates to Yggr, and he greeted the Prince alone in a private room. "What is your purpose here, Yggr?" the Prince asked. "And how did you survive that nuke from the GSTF?" "I was wiser than Erik." Yggr replied. "Once he launched the nuke, I knew intervention of some sort was imminent. So I took many of Shield City's senior leaders, and many powerful Knights of the Shield and went into a nuclear bunker, the night before the nuke detonated. A few weeks later, we donned radiation suits and exited the bunker through an escape tunnel opening miles away, and met up with other remnants. Since then we have been waiting, waiting for our return." "And what will you do?" Samuel asked. "My master is Mayor Heimingr, son of Erik, recognizes that Shields City and Mothron have a common enemy. The Neo-Sogranists. So I am proposing a deal." "What sort of deal?" the Prince asked. "Is it not obvious?" Yggr asked. "Where do you think we captured 500 Sogranists? We went straight to their base, to their very HQ, for we know where it is. The Mayor and I, on behalf of our people request that you give us a mountainous island. It doesn't have to be near Aussiland, it could even be an island in that lake near Stakraine. "The point is, in exchange for an island to establish a new Shields City on, we will tell you where their secret HQ is, and aid you in defeating them. So Prince, do you accept?" "I am not sure I trust you." the Prince replied. "Give us time to deliberate." "Certainly." Yggr nodded, making way to leave the room. But he paused before the doorway, "Know that if you deny us an island, we will never stop fighting the World, until we have four islands instead of one." The Prince sighed, and Yggr departed. So now comes a decision. Should we agree to the proposition of Shields City or not? Whatever choice made will change the course of Mothron, no, even the World depending on what choice is made. Vote: Yes to trusting Shields City? or No! Never trust Shields City!
