_~* Whisper Update *~_ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Update ~ I haven't worked much on Whisper's dressage lately, so I decided that I should make my way down to her stall this morning! I rushed down to the barn, avoiding the unpredictable gusts of wind that came around, trust me do *not* underestimate the wind, it actually threw me over once. So, without any further note, I walked down the stables aisle, until I came across Whispers stall. opened the door, and safely secured her halter before taking her down to the cross ties, which, thankfully, are just a short walk from her stall. We walked down the aisle until we met the end of the barn, I looked at Whisper until she gave me the look of "I will not stop at every flower I see" and then walked down the pathway to the cross ties. After about 15 steps we had made it to the cross ties unhindered, before a unforgiving gust of wind blew past the door. I clipped Whisper into the cross ties before realizing my mistake. I had forgotten to grab her tack before I got her... and the tack room was on the other side of the estate. I winced, "Yikes" I then left Whisper with the cross ties and made my way to the tack room. But, as I was coming back with her tack, I found that a giant wind was coming at me. But, thankfully, the tack kept me from flying away, and I only slipped, and this all happened 5 steps away from the cross tie door, where Whisper was staring at me. I just look at her, brushed myself off, and quickly hurried to put on her tack. After a while, we found ourselves in the arena, that was surrounded by some tree's, also known as our hero's. We started by walking, and slowly sped up, making sure we were [ quite literally ] warmed up. We worked on some flying lead changes, Passage & Pirouette, and even touched a bit on her Piaffe. Before closing on what she had mostly mastered, her side-step. We closed with happy faces, and contentment... until we walked into the wind again... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I never thought I'd say this, but writing about wind is more fun that the actual work with the horse-
