- Withering Compromise - _____________________________________________ The compromise after the 2nd outbreak, was that the sentient husks would be allowed to settle in Western Poland, while being an autonomous "Dominion" under Warsaw's supervision. The world entrusted Poland with the responsibility of keeping the corpses in check..... But a caged beast never wants to stay caged for long..... The fires of ambition burn brightly. As the West rapidly modernizes. And as the Pratum Corporation steadily erodes the East's hovering eyes. It isn't long before the military and economic power of West Poland surpasses the East. Poland can only watch as the West illegally engages in outside diplomacy, coming to Japan's aid against Korea and gaining Wando, creating trade agreements, and expanding enterprises to foreign states.... Then, the Pratum Corporation formally disbands the West Polish Council, the "official" government of West Poland managed by Warsaw, but now without influence or power. Being expelled from their own Dominion by a Corporation, that now formally declared itself to be the government of West Poland, & may very soon outright disband the status as a Dominion.... It isn't long before Pratum mobilized on the Eastern border, and answered in kind by East Polish mobilization.... The East has failed in its responsibility of keeping the West in check, conflict is inevitable..... In the eyes of some, the world is looking at a third grater corpse outbreak by a more powerful sentient variant unless Poland gets its act together and fulfills its responsibility.
