RULES: 1. Your character must not contain any inappropriate content that goes against scratch guidelines, (ex. do not enter a character including major gore in their design, etc.) 2. Your character must either fall into a species in the Kirby series (Like Kirbys, waddle Dees, or based off another character from the games), your character looks out of place from everything else it probably won't be added, but this rule isn't too strict, if it looks "Kirby" enough I'm willing to add it. 3. Your OC cannot JUST be Kirby, I'm only adding this because this has happened before, you must add something to make them original. The same goes for any other Kirby character, don't just make them the same, the only exception might be for characters that were not in air riders, but I recommend just making an OC. 4. "Joke Characters" will be limited, you can have some goofy picks for characters (like Sakurai added STARMAN, so it's fine), but their stats, abilities, and specials must be balanced no characters that are too comically powerful or weak. Characters will be judged on creativity and how realistic it is to make them work in the game, not every character needs a crazy gimmick or anything, but good ideas are good ideas, so I'd love to hear some cool concepts. If you aren't sure what to put down for certain boxes I have a guide for anyone who needs it at the bottom. (Note: I only recommend filling out the optional information if you don't have any ideas for stats, gimmicks, and specials, filling out the optional information makes it easier for me to design the character accurately) it's likely not ALL characters signed up will get added especially if we get a lot of entries, but I will make an effort to add as many as I can, while still not forgetting QUALITY is more important than quantity. Help guide for filling this out: Character: A simple sprite for your character, style doesn't matter, just put your best sprite, one that makes the character's design clear, so I can make sprites for them. Name: The name of your character, self explanatory In-game Character Description: This is where you make a short description that will be used in the game. I may edit your description based on how I develop the character, these descriptions don't tend to go into detail with character traits, so try to describe their gameplay mechanics mostly. Stats: A basic idea of what your character's stats will look like, it doesn't have to be anything specific or too detailed, if you're wondering what stats this game has I'll list some of them here; Top Speed, Boost, Charge, Grip, Weight, Attack, HP, etc. Special: Create a concept for what your character's special move will do, these moves need to be charged up and are a lot more powerful than a character's other moves, unless I scrap special moves, all characters have them, so make sure to add one. Gimmicks: List what your character's abilities would be, what makes them stand out? Characters tend to have either one gimmick or none at all, I won't mind if you leave this blank, it's just you'll have a lower chance of entering unless I think of a good gimmick for your character. Page 2: Everything on this page is optional, you should only fill out the majority of the things on here if you feel like it, or are lacking in the "required" boxes, so think of it like homework. Lore: You don't need this, I mostly added this for fun, it could help in designing your character but you may ignore this box. Alt colors: Select fill and color in the circles to indicate what main color an alt will use, you can also add sprites to your oc with the recolors and click to cycle through them, which is probably the better option, these are optional but I would like each character to have at least one alt. Other Character Info: this might seem like I put the same thing twice, but this is more for a characters personality than gameplay, put your character's behaviors, personalities, actions, etc. Just put whatever didn't fit in the in-game description Anything you want me to know: Put any information you think would help that didn't fit in anywhere else Thank you for your time, and goodbye
Hope you'll consider him for the game :)
