I spending some time working with Glo, who is now our prToday ofessional pain in the butt. She's a lovely mare, of course, but she definitely has her own ideas about how things should go, and she's never afraid to let everyone know! I headed over to her stall to grab her, and she greeted me with her usual curious expression. Getting her haltered was easy enough, although she did try to sneak a little nibble on my sleeve along the way. Typical Glo behavior. I brought her into the wash bay and got her brushed off, picking out her hooves while she impatiently shifted around and tried to investigate absolutely everything within reach. Standing still is apparently a crime when you're Glo. Once she was all cleaned up, I tacked her up and led her out to the arena. She started off fairly well, but it didn't take long for her silly side to show. A little spook, a dramatic hop, and suddenly you'd think I'd asked her to do the most outrageous thing imaginable. Thankfully, after getting some of that extra energy out, she finally decided to cooperate! Despite her little antics, Glo actually did really well today, and I couldn't stay annoyed at her for long. She's far too entertaining for that. After we finished up, I untacked her, gave her plenty of scratches and treats, and turned her back out to enjoy the rest of the her majesty's day. XD
