Whenever I'm making a concept scheme and struggling to think of a design I just remember that I have to make something exist first, before I can refine it. Most of the time when I do this the design either comes to me naturally or after looking at previous schemes for the sponsor of the car I'm working on. So if you're ever struggling with a design just remember that you have to make it exist first and make it look good later.
