|| The Axeliidaen space program was.. well lackluster until a brake though, this brake though allowed a stronger alloy mix to be able to allow water held spaceships to breech orbit and this invention has been waited to be shared until now.. well no humans know of us for now. Anyway with this the space program has gained massive public awe and favor as the last time anything was sent into orbit, it was to bomb the west with ballistic and nuclear missiles, and the possibility of sending someone to space was amazing for PR and the people, so funding was sent to the space program to get a fish into space, and a moon colony in the upcoming years. The public (NOT humans...) knows of another deal with the military and space program but no one knows what (wink), anyways pver the next year test flights to see if Fishkind would survive in orbits was done along with satellites where sent into orbit by private corporations and the government to map Terran land, along with establish communications with whoever and whatever has the ability to pick up satellite radio or whatever, this allows the starting of communication with human states if they so wish, and also allows communication with other Varun states with radio communication unlocked. With the new ability to talk faster, and the internet starting to boom, the ability to learn languages and get jobs in places other than your home becomes easier and easier leading to more centralization, immigration from other states to the republic booms and trade between states also starts to pick up as now corporations feel safer building railroads and infrastructure outside of Axeliidae, these things expand our industrial capability massively with great levels of advancement, this leads to our tech catching up with the more advanced human states and also all other critters in the South east Atlantic. During this time a joint operation of a major space station set to be complete 3-6 years time starts with all space organizations known working together to create it.
