Approved by the Terran High Command, Operation Why Not's goal is the quick annexation of Australia, and to establish a democratic government under oversight from the Republic of Terra Australis. Unofficially, it's goal is to prevent influence from India, and to exercise the power of the Navy of Terra Australis. The first of the operation, is organization of the 8th, 9th, 20th, and 10th Legions under the command of the Commandment himself. These units are attached to the 3rd and 5th Fleets, who are to transport them to southern Australia, and would be scheduled to arrive in the early morining. Once arriving, the 10th and 9th, lead the beachhead landings, which is of course, after the 4th Bomber Wing destroyed most if not all the major guns and other defenses. After pushing in, this would allow the rest of the invasion force to push inwards. This would ofcourse, force the Australian Army, to respond quickly, attempting to push back the already-landed legions. At the battle of Melbourne, the 10th Legion alongside the 8th, was forced to hold the city aganist a much larger Australian Army. Currently, brutal fighting in the streets have resulted in the loss of 2 sectors, but the rest tof the invading force sieging Canberra in the north, it has severly weakened the Australian Army's logistics, and will allow a pincer movement to totally crush the Australian 3rd Army.
