I guess I'll start writing with Isamu :] He's actually really cool- warning, idk if this will be a 13+ story or not, so warning just in case for V10lence and swearing This is ALSO an Au with my friend, so not everything will be Canon, but mostly "VIGILANCE!! WE NEED YOU IN THE WEST DISTRICT NOW!!" Isamu yelped, nearly throwing himself out of his own bed as his com crackled with a pro's startling, loud command. It was perhaps only eight or nine in the morning? A frown. no... it's too dark- the boy blinked his adjusting eyes and looked at the glowing green screen of his alarm clock, only to yelp in shock. "4:36 a.m!? Come on, I have school, you guys-" _ "VIGILANCE!? DO YOU COPY!?" The com barked, practically standing ramrod like a commanding officer giving orders. Isamu took a dive off his bed, rolling nimbly across the floor to land on his feet, snatching the radio before it could scream again. "Copy! I read you loud and clear, what's the trouble?" He asked. "WEST DISTRICT, NOW! MULTIPLE ASSAILANTS. WE SUSPECT THE LEAGUE MIGHT BE ACTIVE AS WELL". ['The league? Sh-t, this may be an actual situation...'] He thought, the overwhelming creep of anxiety tickling in his chest. "On my way, hold off" later There was so much screaming and shouting that Isamu nearly hid right then- the smoke from the burning buildings made his lungs ache, and his ears were ringing before anything even happened. Villains were actively fighting among the pros... and at the center of the fight, Endeavor himself was engaged with three villains at once. His fire roared, tearing scorching paths across the ground, fury visible in every decision. "Well, well, well... Who brought the kid?" a raspy voice drawled, as if amused. Isamu stiffened, shoulders rising to his ears. ['Already!?']. "Turn around... I want to see your face." Why the boy listened was beyond him, but he turned slowly, raising his hands.... but... that was good. It also meant that the villain hadn't recognized him enough to understand his quirk. Maybe... maybe turning around was a mistake... Not only was Isamu confronted by a villain in an instant, but now he was standing face-to-face with none other than Shigaraki himself. Shigaraki grunted, his face actually visible instead of hidden. "You really are just a child... Pity" He grumbled. "And you're the League leader- N-Not that you didn't already know that," the boy said, taking a step back, then another, hands still raised, "Alright, so here's the deal; I have to be all heroic and capture you, and I would really just appreciate if you didn't try to go out with a huffy-puffy fight." There was a long and unpleasantly awkward pause. Then the man burst out laughing, an eerie, yet endearing sound, following Isamu backwards, step-for-step. "Is that it? You think i'm just gonna get on my knees and bear my wrists to a child?" the raspy laugh continued, so much so that Isamu genuinely thought Shigaraki was going to choke or something. "uh... Maybe?" The move was sudden, so sudden that Isamu didn't dodge, a hand closing around his throat. "Tomura! Restrain yourself and allow me to look at this boy. There's something.. familiar about him," Another voice, deep and resonant. A tall, shadowy figure stepped forward, piercing yellow eyes locked on Shigaraki as he gripped the boy. The League leader growled, but didn't place all fingers, keeping his index lifted. "Make it quick, Kurogiri". Kurogiri stepped forward, hands resting at his sides, and leaned in to get a good look at the boy's face. Isamu gasped, balanced on his toes as he kept a firm grip on Shigaraki's wrist to lessen the pressure. The moment stretched, until the portal villain exhaled slowly. "Tomura... Do not end this boy. He could be of use to our cause." Kurogiri concluded. "If I remember correctly, this is the one with the manipulation quirk." Isamu's eyes widened with another gasp. "SHIGARAKI!!" Endeavor's voice boomed suddenly. The man was already charging towards them, but a wall of blue fire blocked his path. "I don't think so, old man" Dabi's voice came, though he was hidden behind flame. "Uck, I guess i'm late to the party" That one came from above.... Shigaraki's head snapped towards the sky, scowling as rugged red wings beat at the air, holding a striking young man aloft. Hawks. The boy almost felt relief, but Shigaraki's voice came, his grip tightening on him. "Give me time to play a little longer, then we'll be heading back to base." Kurogiri nodded. From above, Hawks frowned slightly and shook his head. "That's not such a great idea, adding kidnapping to the list of credits... then again, when has that ever stopped a bast-rd like you?" Red flashed, but nothing happened. Hawks had dove, aiming to tag Shigaraki in the head with his foot, but a black void had opened, enveloping and spitting him out a few meters away. Tomura scoffed, almost a laugh, and turned his attention to Isamu. (continue)
"I'll get you, don't worry, kid-" Hawks called, lunging again, but again, the same fate. Kurogiri stepped forward, formal and tall. "I'm afraid Tomura Shagaraki is busy at the moment." The winged hero scoffed. "I guess I'll just have to barge in anyways-" With Hawks distracted, Shigaraki stood stiffly. Red eyes locked with unknown colored eyes... but something was wrong. "Let.... me.... in..." The boy murmured, voice strained as his gaze never wavered. Shigaraki's heart and soul were armored, one of the hardest to infiltrate that he'd ever seen, but he only pushed harder. A bead of sweat glistened. "I said let. Me. IN!" The League leader grimaced and let out a small growl, releasing Isamu and stumbling down onto his knees, hand clutched to his chest. The world began to shift and fade, before suddenly they were turned off to the outside, nothing but thoughtless dolls. Slipping into one's heart and soul was like going into a state of daydreaming, or even stepping into a vivid dream. You're thrown into a different set of surroundings, but every sense is aware and active. And Shigaraki's soulsacpe was... like stepping into a black void, but you could still see yourself clearly. At the center sat a small, scrawny black-haired boy, back turned and hunched over, hugging his knees. His little shoulders shook with each quiet sob that escaped him. "Hello, there. I mean no harm-" Isamu tried, his voice gentle and calm. The boy was up in a startled instant, turning around and backpedaling away from the teen hero. "No- No, no, go away! I Don't want you here, you'll just hurt me!!" He cried. "Wait- I'm not here to-" "I JUST WANT YOU TO D!3!! YOU'RE ALL LIARS!!" The boy screamed, but this time, the space reacted. Dark tendrils rose from the ground around Isamu, snaring his legs as they coiled around them tightly. A grimace. "Please! I'm not here to hurt you at all! I just want you to listen to something- I promise, just take some deep breaths". Those words weren't much, but... it was still something. anything. an anchor to the instability of their surroundings. The dark haired boy froze.... considering. Inhale, exhale. inhale, exhale.... inhale, exhale....... By the last breath, the tendrils had retreated back to nothing. "...you... want me to listen?..... to words?" Isamu nodded, releasing a relieved breath as the pressure receded from his legs, allowing him to take a telegraphed step closer, then another, hands up. "Yes, just words, I promise..." A silent pause. "...Okay..." The child took a step forward himself, reaching up to drag his nails across the side of his neck repeatedly. "But first, tell me who you are.." Isamu nodded- I mean, that was quite fair of the boy. "My name is Hanzo Isamu. I come from a place outside of here, but I'm having trouble trying to save someone... so I came here for your help... What's your name?" The child considered this, his eyes dull. Then, with a careful reverence, he spoke again. "My name... is Tenko Shigaraki....." Welp, that's all for now, I'm losing my motivation TvT lol Hope you guys enjoyed, even though MY WRITING SKILLS SUCK TOES RAHHHH
