# THE ELEMENTRIX **A Makeshift Omnixrix · Repaired by Hand · Powered by Possibility** ## ORIGIN The Elementrix began as an Omnixrix, an alien transformation device damaged when its containment pod malfunctioned during atmospheric entry. Exposed to reentry and impact damage, it was discovered by the user and repaired in their garage using whatever tools and materials were available. Without understanding its original design, the user modified its systems, inadvertently changing its function from alien transformations to elemental transformations. ## PHYSICAL DESIGN - **Base:** Black, futuristic fingerless glove with open-tipped fingers. - **Main Dial:** Located on the back of the hand, featuring a double-hourglass centerpiece. - **Outer Dial:** A larger rotating ring containing seven circular elemental icons. Rotate the desired icon into the selection position above the central dial. - **Center Display:** Shows the selected or current transformation directly. - **Four Blue Tubes:** Connected at the top-left, top-right, bottom-left, and bottom-right of the dial. After selecting an element, the user double-taps the central dial and selects a second element to initiate a fusion. Originally, it was an unintended exploit caused by the modified transformation systems interacting with the damaged original technology. ### Activation 1. Press the central dial without selecting an element. 2. Rapidly spin the dial. 3. The Elementrix forcibly fuses all seven elements into Omega State. ### Capabilities - Access to all seven elemental powers simultaneously. - A maximum of three elemental powers actively used at once. - Switching between elements without detransforming. - No conventional fixed-duration timer. ### Risks Prolonged use causes increasing strain on both the user and the glove's physical frame. The user may manually deactivate Omega State, lose consciousness from accumulated strain, or be forcibly detransformed by a device overload. ### Before Core Repair The first Omega State transformation destabilizes the containment core. When the transformation ends, the Elementrix short-circuits and enters an inactive state, shutting down all transformation functions to prevent further damage to the core and its containment system. ### After Core Repair Someone who understands the original technology repairs the core and fine-tunes the transformation systems. Omega State becomes a repeatably usable capability rather than an accidental, potentially device-breaking exploit. - The user still experiences escalating physical strain. - The glove's frame still experiences escalating mechanical strain. - The repaired core and containment systems are protected against the original instability. - When Omega State ends, the Elementrix enters a **two-hour timeout** instead of risking core damage. ## DESIGN PHILOSOPHY The Elementrix is an improvised invention built around advanced alien technology its creator initially doesn't understand. Its capabilities emerge from ingenuity and experimentation rather than deliberate mastery of the original device. Its ordinary transformations offer dependable, unlimited access to individual elements. Fusion provides additional versatility with a strict time limit. Omega State offers extraordinary power, but the cost of prolonged use forces the user to weigh every decision carefully. **The Elementrix doesn't just change what you are. It changes what you can become.**
