it looks like it isn't moving at all, but in less than 3 minutes it will be spinning so fast it looks like an RNG. The backdrop is similar, starting like reddish yellow without changing and eventually gets so fast it becomes an epilepsy warning. For the SDS "What's the Rush?" My 2725th project
How this works: The cat is made such that it starts with direction 90+0.00001, and the 0.00001 part doubles every 5 seconds. In a minute it has doubled 12 times, so it's direction is still 90.04096. Wait another minute and it doubles 12 more times, becoming 257.77216 (technically -102.22784), making it almost upside down! In just 20 more seconds, it has already doubled 4 more times, and it has done 7.456 rotations, which is pretty crazy! Q: Why does it slow down around 200 full rotations in? A: Scratch is usually at 30 FPS, so every new frame increases the direction by 2^1/150-1, which is roughly 0.463%. When the rotations becomes roughly 200, this increases the rotations by roughly 1 each frame, which makes them have similar directions, making it slow down at around that time. It quickly speeds up later, and slows down again around 400 when the rotations increases by 2 per frame. It then becomes pure randomness around 2000 rotations.
