_~* Misty Update *~_ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Update ~ After finishing up all of the barn chores to do for the day, and doing some training with a couple horses, I found I had some free time before the sun went down. So, I decided I would head down to Misty's pasture to get a quick ride in with her. I walked down the sandy dirt path to one of the farthest pastures, where I made a left turn. And was met face to face with my suspect, Misty. She greeted me by biting my hair, and walking farther down into the pasture so I could open the gate without hitting her. I smiled, grabbed her halter, and walked in. She politely waited as I put on her halter, and willingly followed me out to the barn. We soon found ourselves at the cross-ties, where I gave her a quick brush-down, so I could conserve daylight as she was *not* a fan of the dark sky at *all*. I picked up the heavy western saddle after putting on the pad. She stood steady as I put the heavy saddle on her back, and connected the girth. After fastening everything I grabbed her bridle and put it on. She happily followed me as I walked out of the barn, mounted, and walked down to the arena After entering, we walked around a couple laps and got in a couple trotting laps before the sun went down. We quickly made our way back to the barn as I didn't want to get caught up in a "WHAT IS THAT???" situation with her. Once we reached the cross-ties, I slipped off her bridle and put her halter on. She examined a pole as I took her tack into the tack room. I gave her a good brushing/combing/curry-combing/scrub-down/hoof-picking before taking her to her stall instead of her pasture, since the walk there might be horrific. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Thanks for reading guys <3
