Frederick (AKA Fred, for simplicity's sake) is a medium-large figure/sculpture of what I do believe to be a crane, constantly looking down at around a 45° angle. As I type this description, he sits atop my bookshelf, wearing a paper top hat that only avoids sliding off of him with a piece of tape. Whether he is placing a curse upon the household or not is a mystery.
