WARNING: MY DOGS ARE OUT, BL00D, NEEDLES, TOE TURNING PURPLE ARE MENTIONED PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! TYSM!!! so what your seeing here is the aftermath of getting a really bad ingrown toenail out. it was a semi surgical procedure (I was awake and sitting in a chair, bawling my eyes out) so what happened was back in August my toe started hurting really bad one day. so we checked it out and it was an ingrown toe nail. oh okay we can get it out, easy peasy! so we soaked it in Epsom salt, put a special ointment on it. thought it would get better. spoiler alert: it didn't. it got an infection (which is gone now bc I took medication for it), it was swelling up a lot (the medicine also took care of the swelling a bit) and was not getting better at all (it was progressively getting worse ToT) so we went into the doctors today to get it out. the procedure was: numb my toe with a needle (I have a HUGE REALLY BIG fear of them so that was very difficult for me) get the ingrown out (mission complete) this was very, super, duper, hard for me to do! (as you can imagine) all of my life, I've been TERRIFIED (petrified even) of going to the doctors (dentists as well) even just for check ups! I do fine with check ups now btw I was just a little kid back then :) how did I get through this you ask??? WATCHING FROGGYCROSSING ON MY MOMS PHONE (specifically the one where in her tomodachi life island chops child was born ToT) I was bawling really hard and crying through the pain while hysterically laughing at Viennas (chops childs) growing up cutscene TwT also I regret doing this but I looked away from my video to my toe AND IT WAS PURPLE. PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS TERRIFYING. I started crying more lol, but then I went back to my beautiful froggy crossing video. then just like that it was over! I was wide eyed (and yk like the traumatized look in cartoons) and half laughing trauma yk. but my toe is just fine I just need to keep this on for 24 hours. then when 24hrs is up, we'll take it off and dress it properly (my doctor showed my mom how to do that) but yeah I'm utterly exhausted and chillin on the couch keeping my foot up!
big thank you to my doctor for putting up with my crying and fear so very grateful for you!! and thank you to froggycrossing for getting me through this awful experience (and others before this like having a fever, the huzz, etc) I will keep y'all updated on this so pls DONT be worried for me! it wont get any worse, its all gone now I'm just fine!
