After seeing other people vent online, I felt inspired (thx gang). So here is my vent/complaint. It's not anything dark or juicy or anything like that. But I think it's........ very interesting. A few weeks ago, I picked up one of my friends and gave her a ride to this casual youth dance hosted by the Church. I, being an introvert, didn't really talk with her that much, though. I mean, we did slow dance once when a slow song came on. She also tried making me talk with one of her friends, whom I hate (that's a story for another time), and tried making me socialize with other human beings. Normally, talking to people isn't a problem, but because I usually don't dance with anyone at those dances I was in a pretty low and quiet mood. Anyway. I just needed to add context and a few fun facts. When the dance ended, she told me about a certain interaction she had with a boy. She told me that this guy 1. Asked her to dance 2. Asked for her NUMBER 3. ASKED HER OUT ON A DATE. I don't know if it's normal for teenage boys to approach strange, random teenage girls and ask for this kind of stuff. It's definitely something I don't do. Like, I understand wanting to dance with a cute girl, and every guy (or most guys (is it just me?)) imagines getting a random girl's number at least once in his life, but actually doing that AND following through? The whole experience made me uncomfortable. That's my rant, hope you enjoyed If it seems unfinished, it's because Scratch's "bad word detector" (Oh NoOoOoO i HaVe "QuEsTiOnAbLe" WoRdS iN mY pRoJeCt ThAt ArEn'T eVeN bAd ThE wAy I wAs UsInG tHeM) didn't like some of the words for some reason. Btw I have gotten random girls' numbers but not in person... I'm not a weirdo gang trust, they wanted my number first
PLEASE tell me if this is too weird for Scratch or if there's anything I should censor, redact, or euphemize, because I genuinely don't know
