I might retire from this site, not fully. I've been thinking last night, I honestly am growing a little old for this site, since I'm beginning to enter my later teenage years. I have made a lot of good memories on this site, and I may still continue to as I slowly but surely migrate away from it. I'm still going to interact with others and maybe post a little bit of art alongside remixing some stuff just for the fun of it, but it has been hard to continue to work on the endless amounts of projects I have started and left molding for months on end. I don't want to force myself to keep working on something that I just can't find the passion to put into. I might sound blunt for this, but I feel like a lot of the popular content on here now is kind of the same thing, someone posts some random recolored dandy's world character and boom, 200+ followers within a week, a lot of my oc-based projects almost always never blow up as much as my dandy's world projects with maybe the exception of like one, which I didn't really put much effort in to begin with. It's somewhat disheartening, but it is what it is I guess. And again, this is a site for kids 8 and up as well, I am not exactly the type of audience that this site is meant for and I feel as though I am not necessarily bringing anything new to the table as of recently. I've seen an influx of people treating this site as if it's tiktok on steroids and I don't exactly know how to feel about it. As I continue to grow a tiny bit old for this site (Seriously, I don't know if this site for little kids is a good place to post oc angst and attempt to post about slightly more mature topics?) I should focus more on kindling my relationship with my family and friends. This place doesn't exactly feel like the escape I used to think it was, and I didn't have to pressure myself to constantly post something high effort every few days to impress my slightly large audience. I'm probably going to focus more on sites like Tumblr, toyhouse, and artfight (not even going to consider touching Twitter even with a 45 foot long pole) My time on this site has been decent, and I will forever thank those who stuck with me, heck, even those who maybe only interacted once. Please remember you are loved and appreciated, and I am thankful you read through this messy, poorly organized and not necessarily formal announcement.
