To further give our nation defense and attack capabilities, we have been starting to invest in various technologies that will add another layer of the military onto glorious Rakonia. Firstly, although we have POSSs, which are engineered to be significantly upgraded from the original "Rods from God" concept, they are still very expensive and not that cost-effective (for our economy). Which is why we have begun taking them off the space by using their built-in magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters to guide them to Earth's atmosphere, which isn't too hard since they're in LEO. We aim to hit the northern parts of the Black Sea for easy recovery. We can then reuse elements or materials for future projects. Now, instead of POSSs, we will use defensive satellites that are much cheaper and effective. We already did previously send SAR satellites, infrared, ELINT and orbital defense satellites, which are good for info gathering, tracking, jamming and interception, so we will focus on funding and aiding those instead. Apart from spacial capabilities, our scientists and engineers have been working on the Svarog-M, a short-range ballistic missile capable with a radius of about 900 km. Ukraine had previously created various ballistic missiles, like the FP-7 and the 1KR1, and importantly the FP-9, so we already have material to work with. It has a solid rocket motor, using APCP bound with HTPB propellant, CFRP rocket motor case, paired with internal rubber insulators, thrust vector controls, a MEMS intertial navigation system, anti-jam satellite receivers to protect GNSS hijacking, an optical terminal seeker, unitary high explosives with submunition payload, aerospace-grade aluminum alloy airframe, and a fragmenting steel casing warhead with an cork ablative thermal shield. It is likely this would cost up to $2.5M per missile, which is very viable for our economy of currently $480B (even assuming a 3% defense budget in peacetime, we can easily produce 500 missiles, which will take up 8.6% of the defense budget in this case). We will start immediate production of Svarog Ms and aim to produce 100 in our newly industrialized sectors.
