The Undead March to the aid of the Russian people! _________________________________________ Genocide..... The most stupid tactic of war. One paper is sound, but in practice, only gives your enemies the best possible excuse in the universe to resist you. very rarely has there ever been an actual successful genocide, the victims are forced to learn, adapt, and refuse to surrender for the alternative is extinction. And the perpetrator often suffers so much in the long term fight of attrition, that they eventually become victim of oppression and genocide themselves by their enemies that swarm like vultures, or the very people they sought to destroy. It is the worst tactic of war, and almost always guarantees a drawn out unwinnable war. This is ultimately the mistake of Ultron, by declaring a war of annihilation, by moving in with the intent of extermination, the Russian people will unify, they will fight harder, they will learn and adapt, while Ultron gets bogged down and suffers, only for its enemies to come in like vultures.... Thus, West Poland seizes the opportunity to win the Russian people to their side, destroy Ultron, and become the dominant Baltic power.... Pratum had been preparing for war against Russia ever since secret talks with the Solstice and Azovu over their hostile government, that proved to be too weak to keep out the influence of India from Europe. The situation changed too rapidly though, but the plan adapted as well.... But this..... This changes everything.... Now West Poland can march into Russia not as oppressors, but saviors from the existential threat of Ultron, and redeem their reputation not as human harvesting corpses, but as the protectors of eastern Europe. Thus in the hours following Ultron's attack, Pratum declared a state of war between the Dominion of West Poland and Ultron Regency of Slorenia, and alerted its already ready forces. For this war has not only been long waited, but desired.... To Pratum, it could be their 1st Punic War but in the Baltic, as the romantics put it... __________________________________________
(My time to shine again. Not actual RP here, just a declaration, and hoping to secure the next turn in this conflict, or at least maybe the turn after Russia's would be more fair. I have been working on a Russian invasion project since a little after I joined though in cooperation with Azovu, and may have pulled a few strings behind this war's scenes..... But I suppose now that project would'd do, since the art and RP is meant to be an attack into Russia, not fighting with them as allies against Ultron. If they want to be allies anyways, but if the Russian government proves too..... Unreliable, I can overthrow it, trust. But how exciting this war is! I've got all kinds of lore, tactics, maneuvers, and assets planned. Ranging from some less advanced versions of weapons I designed in the last PU for war against NASM, but never got to use. To a few new concepts, like horse cavarly with modern upgrades. I mean.... You simply cannot be Poland without the Wigned Hussars, its a scientific fact.) (Actual RP and opening moves of the war will come next. Though it might take a minute, since it would be of higher quality. I'm also not in the best state rn, but it'll be fine. This war gives me rejuvenation)
