BHAHSANIA CALLS FOR NEW NAMES—GOVERNMENT STAYS SILENT By Tabarak Ruhiullah October 27, 2028 ===================================== Civilians in the Bhahsani RSN continue to push for the renaming of the Alaksandrian River to the Ab-e-Safa, with the petition growing to over a million signatures over the past 2 weeks, all calling for the reclamation of Bhahsani sovereignty and the erasure of the last remnants of the Rajyite era. Parallel campaigns for the Gulf of Gurkhani & Mirza movements have also grown popular, with over 100,000 people supporting the movement over the same period, most of whom are proponents of the Ab-e-Safa movement. Among these, a smaller, more hard-line faction of 5,000 people who call themselves the "Soldiers of Ram" (मुरुगन के सैनिक) have called for larger reclamations, such as the Strait of Bhahsania as opposed to the Strait of Mornington, the FBSN (with B standing for Bhahsania) as opposed to FRSN, and the call for a less Islamic, more Hindu-centric government. Additionally, across Miao and various other social media platforms, hashtags such as #EndColonialRoots and #NoMoreRajya have gone viral, as hundreds have taken to the streets in cities such as New Karkhanar Sahar (NKS), Noorpuri, and Dariyakhan, all to push for a movement which isn't just as simple as renaming things, but a reclamation of national pride, especially as seen towards the South with the Soldiers of Ram and the Hindus. As of now, the Bhahsani Secondary Parliament has remained quite silent, though Emergency Secretary Mughlai and Secondary Executive Shariq have made fleeting remarks about the movement. It is unclear how this situation may proceed, though mounting public pressure makes the movement more difficult to ignore.
