ENTITY NAME - Juphringus DANGER LEVEL - low DESCRIPTION - Juphringus is a 7’5” glaggle of the Juphringus species. Usually, Juphringi come in groups of 10 to 15, giving them a “strength in numbers” mentality. However, this Juphringus seems to have been separated from his group. Research logs show this one was taken from Juphringus Island just off the coast of Glaaberland so our researchers could study its behavior patterns in a safe, controlled environment designed to be similar to its place of origin. However, being separated from its group sent the Juphringus into a panic, and it escaped into the service tunnels. Due to not being with its tribe, the Juphringus appears to be scared. HR claims it is scared because it feels “weak and vulnerable”. However, it still maintains its extremely territorial instincts, and has claimed the large intersection room between tunnels 16G and 23H as its territory. To adapt to its environment, the Juphringus has become much craftier and seems to have become slightly more intelligent, now being able to form small basic sentences instead of just making caveglag noises like the rest of its species. Security footage shows that it has set up flimsy makeshift barricades and weak walls made out of whatever it could find to try and keep people out. Maintenance has been informed of this and took it upon themselves to reinforce the Juphringus’s barriers while it was asleep. We are currently attempting to coax the Juphringus into coming back out so we can return it to its tribe, but it doesn’t seem to want to leave. It has been spotted interacting with other tunnel entities, including the Lourgig, and has formed mutual alliances with most of them. It also has been seen sunbathing under a skylight in its territory.
(note: the plural noun for Juphringus is NOT Juphringuses, it’s actually Juphringi, like cactus and cacti)
