After the initial invasion, the Yemeni forces were able to take back the areas around Sana'a. However, the Hejaz-Nejdi forces, using the 25,000 soldiers stationed there, could take it back. At the same time, 100,000 more soldiers were sent to fight. Hejaz-Nejd will continue using roads to invade, however this strategy may need to change very soon. At the same time the Hejaz-Nejdi True Patriots movement has been growing in popularity. Eventually, a newspaper and news outlet called 'The Sword' was made by a member of the HNTP. To prevent it's spread, 'The Sword' was restricted heavily. The Hejaz-Nejdi Socialist Party estimates that there have been about 25,000 casualties for the Hejazi army and 40,000 for Yemen. However others say it's 30,000 for the Hejazis but the same for Yemen.
