(chapter 1: wren) "Wren Lily! Get out here right now and do your homework! Your books not going anywhere, so just leave it on your nightstand and quit reading for just an hour!!" 16 year old Wren's mom shouted from downstairs. "Coming," Wren said lazily, her eyes focused on nothing but the book she was reading. "WREN!" Her mom shouted even louder. Wren slightly jumped, and put her book on the nightstand beside her neatly-made bed. Wren's cat, Annie, followed her downstairs. Wren didn't get good grades in school because she read 24/7, even though she was only homeschooled. The only subject she enjoyed in homework was writing. She wanted to be an author someday, and all she did in her life was wake up early and read, breakfast, read, read some more, read even more, homework, write for a little bit then read, lunch, write, read again, read even more, dinner, write, read, write, read, stay up late and read, and then sleep. Wren's parents were also divorced, so her life was pretty lonely. She only spent time with Annie. "Do I have to do homework, mom? I want to go back and finish my b-" "NO, WREN! You are NOT going back to read until you're homework is finished. Also, it's not good for you to read that much!" Wren's mom shouted. "Sorry! I just love to read. But fine, I'll do my homework so I can get back to my book." Wren said. All the confusing math problems of doom filled Wren's head, the equations were so confusing to Wren that she got a headache. 3 hours later, she finished her homework, went back to her bed, and started to read. She read for hours, till she heard her mom shout from downstairs, "WREN! I'm signing you up for Orange Coast High! No more being homeschooled!" Wren gasped. *hai beauties! sorry that was a kind of boring first chapter, but don't worry, it will get more exciting! alr, cya!*
hi beauties!! i just thought of writing a book right now. 2 homeschooled bookworms who love to write both stay in the house more than outside. they are always "lost" in a book and they don't have friends because they never go outdoors. but when the 2 book-lovers meet each other by attending the same school, that's when they're lives both change.
