Spacebar to see the poem! I think I worked out the glitches in the sound, but if it does glitch try double-clicking the green flag.
This is a Shakespearean sonnet that I wrote. It has 14 lines with 10 syllables each, and the last two lines are a rhyming couplet. Shakespeare also wrote his sonnets in iambic pentameter, which I did not use. I hope you enjoy this poem! I've noticed that I write a lot of poetry about the moon. Interesting to think about! I've always loved the kind of light it shines. It seems brighter than sunlight, but also softer and purer somehow. The sound is a magic bells loop by orangefreesounds on Freesound.org. See, I cited my reference! No infringements of rights here! Aren't you proud of me? ;) UPDATE: I entered this in a county-wide high school writing contest, and I won third for the junior poetry division!
